Taste the Authentic Turkish Green Tea

Green tea is produced from the leaves of the Camellia Sinensis plant, the same plant commonly referred to as tea, without undergoing fermentation. This plant also serves as the raw material for black and oolong teas. All teas derived from Camellia Sinensis are sources of antioxidants, but green tea is known to contain the highest level of antioxidants, namely polyphenols, due to being the least processed.

These polyphenols are responsible for many of the health benefits associated with green tea. Thanks to its preservation of natural structure, green tea is known as a rich source of antioxidants that support the body and provide numerous health benefits. The mild and refreshing taste of green tea makes it a delightful beverage to enjoy at any time of the day.

Tea is very sensitive to humidity and odor. Store it in a sealed container, away from moisture and direct sunlight, in the nicest spot of your heart and kitchen. You can brew with 1 gram of tea, allowing for brewing twice, and enjoy 3–4 cups of tea.

For the perfect cup

We believe that the brewing method is as important as the quality of the tea used. Here are our brewing secrets:

Use fresh, oxygen-rich water that has not been previously boiled.
Boil the water and let it cool to around 85°C for approximately 3 or 4 minutes. Using boiling water decreases the flavor and benefits of green tea.
Put one gram of green tea in a teapot of about 400cc. (We don't recommend using a French Press)
Pour water over it and allow it to brew for 4 minutes. Then, watch the leaves slowly unfold. Afterward, remove the tea. Brewing for longer may result in a bitter taste.
